Nature of support

Teacher and Teaching Assistant support to deliver small group work and ‘rapid response’ sessions.

Types of intervention: Socially Speaking/ Read Write Inc. Fresh Start and Phonics/ Lexia/ Numicon.

Resources: The Butterfly House (nurture group provision); ICT; library books; school counsellor service; computer club (before-school access to

ICT equipment).

Financial support for school trips including residentials, uniforms, PE kit.

The outcomes for this cohort of pupils in receipt of the Grant compare favourably with national average figures for all pupils. They

exceed in writing at the expected standard. The most significant gap is in maths, both at the expected and higher standard.
