Nature of support

Teaching Assistant support to deliver small group work and ‘rapid response’ sessions.

Types of intervention: Springboard Maths/ Reading Intervention/ Further Literacy Support/ Socially Speaking/ Read Write Inc. Fresh Start and Phonics/ Lexia.

Resources: The Butterfly House (nurture group provision); ICT; library books.

Financial support for school trips, uniforms, PE kit.

The attainment of these pupils is behind that of their peers in all subjects, writing being the weakest area. Their progress was stronger than their peers in reading, similar in writing, but weaker in maths.
